Wakiso district NRM cadres agree on way forward after party primaries

Aspirants for the NRM party tickets for various electoral seats in kira Municipality in Wakiso district have opted for consensus as opposed to going for competitive elections.

The NRM cadres reached an agreement to amicably resolve their differences that rooted from the large violence and voter bribery characterized prty primary in a decade ahead of the general elections in 2021. it's reported that the aspirants who lost and those who won in kira municipality had a meeting where they resolved to reach consensus as compared the much-anticipated decision of the lossers opting to come into the election as independents which could in turn make the elections so competitive.

The nomination of Members of parliament is due on 12th and 13th October 2020 and Kira municipality NRM cadres have agreed to field the winner of the primaries as they bid to oust FDC.s Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda.
