Mr Moses Nkonge Kibalama (former President, NUP) and Ssimbwa Kagombe (former Secretary-General) have been under ‘state protection’ by Police and other civilian cloth state operatives and suspects have been asked to tender in their phones and any other electronic devices that may be used in any form of communication by security.
According to reports, it is being alleged that they are being coerced into changing their earlier statements and say that Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu illegally became Party President.
However,It is still remembered that High Court yesterday dismissed the case brought against National unity platform(NUP) by two individuals who were seeking a temporary injunction over it's activities.
The two were apparently arrested yesterday, shortly before the court session. Our snoops reveal that a section of lawyers had been spotted around Kibalama's home and sine then we have not yet established reasons why they were spotted there though some sources suggest that this is related to the statement which Kibalama had earlier submitted to court.
This is a developing story and we will keep tabs on it.
