COVID-19: HEALTH MINISTRY CLARIFIES ON WHICH PATIENTS TO BE GIVEN PRIORITY

THE DAILY PARROT NEWS (Kampala): Following the increased COVID-19 cases reportedly about to reach 10,000, the Ministry of health has broke its silece on which patient category will be given the first priority the treatment and admission process as the country tries all its best to manage the surging cases.

According to recent reports, Ministry of health says only those who develop signs and symptoms consistent with COVID-19 are the only ones being picked. With the increase in community infections, it has become costly to quarantine suspects.

Howeever, Jane Ruth Aceng together with other Health stakeholders continue to argue the public to keep practising precautionary measures issued by government through health experts as the country continues to fight the novel coronavirus.
